If you have a common Laptop at home which is used by all of your family members including, it shouldn’t be Pin locked. Infact it is useless to Password Protect a Windows or any Laptop, which is not someone’s personal computer.
Before Windows 11, it was easy to remove the pin from Windows 10. That was a hurdle-less procedure because remove Pin option on Windows 10 was enabled by default. In Windows 11 the scenario is a bit different. There is an option to remove Pin on Windows 11 Computer but the option is disabled. Basically, Windows Greyed out the Remove Pin option on Windows 11 for security purposes. Users need to mess with some settings so that they will be able to remove passwords on Windows laptops.
How to Remove Pin from Windows 11 through Windows Hello
Press Windows+i on your keyboard to open the Settings app. Or you can ‘Settings’ in Windows Search and select it from the search results.
